1. Eligibility — Adults 18 and Older
XY ConneXion is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older.
By creating an account, completing an assessment, or otherwise using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.
2. What XY ConneXion Provides
XY ConneXion is a relationship education and assessment platform designed to help people better understand relationship needs, communication, intimacy, compatibility, and interpersonal dynamics.
Depending upon the Service selected, XY ConneXion may provide:
- XY ConneXion Assessments
- Personal ConneXions™
- Couples ConneXion™
- XY ConneXion Blueprint™ information
- ConneXion Checks
- Compatibility and relationship reports
- Saved ConneXion results or histories
- Educational relationship resources
- Relationship-development programs
- Coaching or other related services where separately offered
Features and Services may be modified, added, or discontinued from time to time.
3. One Assessment. Multiple ConneXions.
Certain XY ConneXion Services are designed to allow an individual to complete an assessment and subsequently use the resulting profile to explore ConneXion with other participating users without necessarily retaking the assessment for each new ConneXion.
Access to ConneXion Checks, saved results, ConneXion histories, reports, or other features may vary according to the user’s selected plan or subscription.
4. Accounts and Account Security
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You may not:
- Impersonate another person
- Complete an assessment while pretending to be another person
- Access another person’s account without authorization
- Obtain or distribute another user’s private results without authorization
- Use XY ConneXion to harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or harm another person
5. Assessment and ConneXion Results
XY ConneXion results are generated from information supplied by users and the methodologies incorporated into the XY ConneXion system.
Results are intended to help users identify and better understand potential similarities, differences, relationship needs, and interpersonal dynamics.
XY ConneXion assessments, profiles, compatibility information, ConneXion Checks, Blueprints, reports, and other results are intended to provide relationship insight and educational information. They should be viewed as a source of insight—not as a prediction or determination of whether a relationship will succeed, fail, begin, continue, or end.
Human relationships are affected by circumstances, experiences, choices, behaviors, values, and other factors that no assessment can fully measure or predict.
Users remain responsible for their own relationship decisions.
6. No Guarantee of Compatibility or Relationship Outcomes
XY ConneXion does not guarantee compatibility or any particular relationship outcome.
A high degree of measured alignment does not guarantee that a relationship will be successful, healthy, safe, or lasting.
Similarly, differences identified by XY ConneXion do not establish that individuals are incompatible or that a relationship will be unsuccessful.
XY ConneXion results should be considered one source of information among the many factors relevant to understanding another person or relationship.
7. Not Professional or Clinical Advice
Unless expressly stated in connection with a separately contracted professional service, XY ConneXion assessments, automated reports, educational materials, Blueprints, compatibility results, and ConneXion Checks are provided for educational and informational purposes.
They do not constitute psychological diagnosis, psychotherapy, psychiatric or medical treatment, legal advice, or other individualized professional advice.
XY ConneXion results should not substitute for professional evaluation, counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or advice when such assistance is appropriate.
Participation in an educational or coaching service through XY ConneXion does not by itself establish a psychotherapist-patient, physician-patient, attorney-client, or similar professional relationship.
8. Safety
XY ConneXion is not a safety-screening tool.
It is not designed to determine whether another person is trustworthy or to detect or rule out abuse, domestic violence, coercive control, stalking, exploitation, threats, dangerousness, or criminal behavior.
A favorable XY ConneXion result should never be interpreted as evidence that another person is safe or trustworthy.
If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services or other appropriate resources rather than relying upon XY ConneXion.
9. Paid Services and Subscriptions
XY ConneXion may offer free and paid Services.
Features available under each plan—including the number of ConneXion Checks, saved results, reports, histories, educational resources, or other benefits—will be described at the time of purchase.
Prices and plan features may change from time to time.
Any applicable recurring billing or automatic-renewal terms will be disclosed during the purchase process as required by applicable law.
10. Payment Processing
Payments for paid XY ConneXion Services are processed through PayPal.
PayPal may independently collect and process payment, financial, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. PayPal’s payment-processing documentation specifically recognizes its independent processing of certain customer and transaction information.
XY ConneXion does not directly store complete credit- or debit-card numbers processed by PayPal.
We may receive transaction-related information necessary to administer purchases and subscriptions, such as payment status, purchase amount, transaction identifiers, and subscription status.

11. Cancellation and Refunds
Users may cancel recurring subscriptions in accordance with the cancellation procedures associated with their account or payment method.
Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically entitle the user to a refund of amounts already paid.
Because XY ConneXion provides digital assessments, reports, intellectual property, educational materials, and other digital Services that may become accessible immediately following purchase or activation, purchases are generally non-refundable after access or activation except where otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
12. Intellectual Property
XY ConneXion’s names, trademarks, assessment questions, scoring methodologies, algorithms, reports, frameworks, protocols, educational materials, written content, graphics, software, design elements, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to XY ConneXion and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Use of the Services grants you a limited personal right to use the Services as intended. It does not transfer ownership of XY ConneXion intellectual property.
You may not:
- Reproduce, sell, publish, license
- Systematically extract
- Reverse engineer
- Commercially exploit
- Create derivative commercial products from proprietary XY ConneXion materials without authorization
13. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate applicable law
- Commit fraud or deception
- Harass, threaten, or harm another person
- Obtain unauthorized access to accounts or information
- Manipulate or falsify assessment responses or results
- Scrape or systematically extract proprietary materials
- Disrupt or compromise platform security
- Infringe upon XY ConneXion’s or another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights
14. Suspension or Termination
XY ConneXion may reasonably suspend, restrict, or terminate access when necessary to protect users, the platform, intellectual property, security, or other persons, including in response to suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, security threats, misuse of the Services, or material violations of these Terms.
15. Third-Party Services
XY ConneXion relies upon third-party technology and service providers.
These may include PayPal for payment processing and GoDaddy for hosting, email, and related infrastructure.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ respective terms and privacy policies.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis.
XY ConneXion does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free, nor does it warrant any particular personal, compatibility, or relationship outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, XY ConneXion and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from use of or reliance upon the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
18. Changes to These Terms
XY ConneXion may update these Terms periodically.
The current version will display its “Last Updated” date. Additional notice or consent will be provided when required by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
